Cassie Hiking On The Cumberland Plateau ~ April 2009
Some of you already know how crazy I am about my dogs, so if I can just bend your ear for a minute or two.....Last fall I asked for your help and dear readers, I'm asking for your help again!
I'm a volunteer with Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue, an organization near and dear to my heart. We adopted Cassie from this fine rescue group in February 2008. Wolf Creek is taking in more and more Weimaraners than ever.... and like many rescue organizations, there simply are never enough funds to cover expenses. Sadly, we are seeing more surrenders due to the current economic downturn.
The Animal Rescue Site is running another contest for shelter and rescue organizations called the $100,000 Shelter Challenge, in which pet organizations in financial need can compete for grants. You can vote every day until July 26th for your favorite participating shelter. The rescue organizations with the most votes will win. There are several grants up for grabs. If Wolf Creek places 1st in Tennessee, we would win a $1,000 grant. If we place first nationally, we could win a $20,000 grant! If you could take just a moment to vote for Wolf Creek, it would be greatly appreciated. So, here's where and how you come in....
1. Click on the Shelter Challenge logo below.
2. Type in Wolf Creek.
3. The USA box is already filled in, so just fill in the state TN.
4. Click on "Search".
5. You should see WCWR in Lenoir City, TN.
6. Click on VOTE!
7. The site will ask you to verify the picture shown (fish, dog, etc.) and then verify your vote.
8. You have Voted! Thank you!

** VOTE EVERY DAY! **
** Trust me, all the Weimaraners will love you for it!**
I've placed a link in the upper left sidebar for easy voting every day...thank you so much for your time and your vote!

Definitely voted for Wolf Creek! I'll get the husband to do the same- we love Holly at All Dogs and the staff at The gray dog!
Thanks Katie! Holly and Amber are great and have done so much over the years helping wayward Weims find loving homes. Thanks for voting and spread the word :)
